2024年に開催された写真家・YURI HORIEの個人として初の写真展「浪漫-Roman- YURI HORIE Photo Exhibition」のアーカイブとして制作された写真集。
写真展で未公開の写真を含め、全100枚がフルカラーで収録されています。
北九州や沖縄のど派手な成人式、ギラギラと光るデコトラ、刺青、祭事、歌舞伎町の夜遊びなど……。本作に収録されているのは作家が全国各地、様々な人と出会う中で所謂“漢の浪漫”に宿る普遍的な魅力に惹かれ、自分の心にも“浪漫”を抱いた瞬間。日本の“伝統や文化”という言葉で思い浮かぶのは窮屈で肩肘張ったものばかり。しかし本当にそれだけなのか？引き継がれ、変化していく唯一無二の浪漫を捉えた一冊です。
